Privacy Policy

 1. OUR ASSURANCE TO YOU

At Data Connect Corporation, one of our highest priorities is making sure that the information we have about you is protected and secure. We value our partnership with you and work hard to preserve your privacy and ensure that your preferences are honored. At the same time, the very nature of our relationship may result in us collecting or sharing certain types of information about you. We explain how we use customer information in this privacy policy statement. We invite you to contact us with questions or to make requests regarding your personal information.

2. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

a. Is provided to us by you via surveys, registration and information request forms, etc.

b. Is provided to us when you make a purchase, or other account information such as balance, payment history or credit card usage.

c. Comes via third-party analytics software in conjunction with our prospect/customer database to track activity on our website. Our software utilizes cookies, a small amount of data which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive. Cookies are required to use our tracking software. Persistent and session ID cookies are used to identify unique visitors to our site. This technology helps us understand user behavior, tells us which areas of our website people have visited, and measure the effectiveness of web searches.

d. Comes via third-party analytics software used to provide metrics on our email marketing campaigns. We track responses and actions taken from messages sent, and we may collect information that you volunteer. This data will be used to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns, to gather demographic information, and as part of our marketing services.

3. HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED

a. We share information with companies that we have a special relationship with such as third-party marketers.

The information shared consists of:

- Data provided by customers

- Account information

b. We share information that we have about you in response to subpoenas or for other legal reasons.

c. Your information is never shared with third-party agencies for their own marketing purposes.

4. HOW INFORMATION IS PROTECTED

We strive safeguard your date from unauthorized access. We monitor our network for intrusions 24 hours a day, and allow only task-specific data both in and out. Restriction is limited to a port, a particular IP address, or both. Our internal (event)website traffic transverses the internet via a secured VPN connection encrypting the data while it's passed through to our corporate location in Englewood, Colorado, where it is decrypted. However, we can make no guarantees that data and information will be secure against intrusion or unauthorized access by third parties.

5. FORMER CUSTOMERS

We share information with companies that we have a special relationship with such as joint marketers.

The information shared consists of:

- Data provided by customers

- Account information

a. Your information is never shared with third-party agencies for their own marketing purposes.

6. CUSTOMER PREFERENCES

We honor your choices for sharing data. If you wish not share information about your business with companies outside of our organization for purposes of email campaigns, please send your request in writing to:

The law allows 10 days to process your request once received. By law, we are permitted to provide a suppression file with your opt-out information to third-party providers.

8. COPPA

In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect information from users under the age of 13.

7. CHANGES TO POLICY

Our privacy policy may change as the need warrants. Changes will be published on our website.
