Our Management Team

Each member of the Data Connect Corporation executive team has extensive experience in technology and business. Under their leadership, Data Connect Corporation has received numerous awards including the Liberty Vision award for innovation and excellence, “Keeping America Strong” award from Heartbeat of America, and MGMA’s Corporate Affiliate recognition.

Tim Hobbs, CEO

Tim Hobbs is the founder and CEO of Data Connect Corporation. Tim’s 25 years experience in Business Development, Systems Design & Integration give him the extensive, hands-on experience necessary to successfully run a national technology enterprise. Tim has gained a solid reputation among colleagues and customers alike as an information technology executive with a rare combination of strategic insight, operational expertise, technological and collaboration skills. He is focused on leading Data Connect Corporation to achieve improved growth in revenue and profitability, greater innovation and collaborative ventures, and creating the best customer, employee, vendor experience.

Education: Bachelor of Science, Physics and Nuclear Engineering – Colorado School of Mines

Mr. Hobbs is most proud of his implementation of the “Tim Five.” These guiding principles help govern the daily activities of every employee.

Lynda Tarufelli, Vice President Operations

Lynda’s 20 year experience in the technology industry includes 12 years at Data Connect. In that time she has been instrumental in creating the foundations and processes for customer service, training, operations, implementation, and business processes. She spearheaded DCC’s outreach program “Community Connect” which is dedicated to finding ways to make the world a better place. As an individual she has been an active participant in various programs such as Junior League and Habitat for Humanity and takes great pride in giving back to the community. She began her education at Western Wyoming College with an A.A.S and continued her education at Regis University.

 

David Blackburn, Chief Financial Officer

David has 25 years of financial management experience, including the past 5 years with Data Connect Corporation. He worked with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell in Washington DC in their audit department, was Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of Dominion Federal Savings & Loan Association in Tysons Corner, Virginia. Prior to Data Connect Corporation, David served as Executive Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Trans Financial Bancorp, Inc. in Bowling Green, KY. He is a licensed C.P.A.

Education: Business Administration & Accounting - College of William & Mary

 Micheal Center, Executive Vice President Trade Show Division

Micheal has over 20 years of experience in the retail grocery and foodservice distribution business. His background is well suited for leading our Trade Show division, with extensive experience in managing trade shows, special events, and software implementations. He has a solid reputation in the foodservice industry for designing innovative marketing programs, using customer data to drive sales results. Micheal believes that the success of any trade show is based on a clear understanding of how the show fits into the overall business philosophy of a company. His focus will be further developing our Show Expert Systems trade show software as the industry standard for trade show sales transactions.

Education: Bachelor of Science, Psychology - University of California, MBA specialty in Marketing - University of Phoenix
